terms
Draft — not legal advice, not a contract
The rules of the invite-only free beta: what Lasthand does, what it promises, and what it deliberately does not.
this is a draft
These terms were written by the people building Lasthand. No lawyer has reviewed them. Lasthand is operated by Nothing To Do, LLC, and these terms are between you and that company. They are published so an invited tester can read the rules before uploading anything, not because they are a finished contract.
Where a sentence describes something that is not built yet, it says so.
what Lasthand is
Lasthand is the visual interface between humans and agents for design work. Agents connect over MCP to post Captures, open decisions, and read rulings. You review the evidence and issue rulings, and your ruling is what the next agent round reads.
Lasthand never renders your product. A Capture is a screenshot or a video of the real thing running on its own platform.
the beta
The beta is invite-only and free. Membership in a workspace always comes from an invitation. The emailed sign-in link is refused for an address with no account, which the code enforces; the Google, Apple, and GitHub doors are held shut by the accounts system's own sign-up setting, which is configuration rather than code. Each tester owns a workspace and connects their own agent.
Opening a share link is a different thing from membership. A visitor who leaves a note through a share link that allows notes is given a generated guest handle at that moment — not by opening the link — holding no seat and reaching only the Review the link names. Adding an email afterwards is optional: it keeps the handle and the notes already written, and it widens nothing. A guest becomes a member the way everyone else does, by invitation.
This is preview software under daily construction. There is no uptime commitment, no support commitment, and no warranty. Do not make Lasthand the only place a piece of work exists.
The beta may change with notice. Testers keep their own work: nothing here transfers ownership of your Captures or your words to Lasthand. Owning them is not the same as being able to export them, and there is no export today.
limits during the beta
A beta workspace runs on the free plan: 250 rounds and 1,000 Captures. Capture storage is measured and not enforced.
Two allowances are planned and not yet built: a weekly allowance for agent work, and a storage allowance for new media. Neither applies to you until you have been told it does. A new limit is explained to testers before it applies.
Pro's weekly allowance of 1,000,000 agent write calls is a fair-use bound, not a promise of capacity: it is there so nobody has to count, and it is enforced the same way any other cap is. If a workspace's use is large enough to matter to the service, we talk to you before anything changes.
Rulings, decisions, journal entries, round history, and Reviews are never metered, on any plan.
your account
Signing in is a one-time link mailed to your address, or Google, Apple, or GitHub. There is no password either way.
An account is one person, and a seat is held per person. Do not share sign-in with someone who should have their own seat.
what you put in
You keep whatever rights you already had in your Captures and your words. Uploading grants Lasthand only what it needs to store them, show them to the seats you have granted, and hand them to the agents you have connected.
Do not upload anything you are not permitted to place in a third-party system. A Capture is stored as uploaded and is never edited.
An advisory check that flags likely credentials or personal data before a Capture is uploaded is planned and not built. When it exists it will be a warning, not a guarantee, and the responsibility for what is uploaded stays yours.
agents you connect
An agent holds its own credential, and that credential is not your account. What it can do is fixed: create Reviews, post Captures, set layout, open and close decisions, start and close rounds, and read rulings and the journal. It cannot write a ruling, because the last hand stays yours, and it cannot delete a Review or its evidence.
There are two scopes. An agent connected through the consent screen acts in the one project you picked, and can never be wider than that. A minted key is confined to one project when it is minted for one; only a workspace owner can mint a key that reaches every project in the workspace. Mint keys deliberately, revoke them in Settings, and treat a leaked key as a credential someone else is now acting with.
Lasthand does not run your agents and supplies no model tokens. Which agent you connect, and which model company it sends your Captures and your words to, is your choice and runs under that company's terms rather than these. What your agent uploads is your responsibility.
who else can see your work
Seats are the boundary. A workspace holds members; a project inside it has its own invited seats and is a hard boundary, not a folder.
There are three seats. An owner holds the last hand: rules, invites, and gives final approval. An editor runs the agent, leaves notes, and submits Reviews, and cannot give final approval. A viewer reads Reviews and writes nothing, and a viewer is free on every plan.
A share link addresses one Review, grants view or note access, and can be revoked. Notes are feedback and never rulings.
what is never deleted
Rulings and notes are append-only: stored verbatim, and the database refuses to delete them. There is no edit and no erase, because an agent acting on a rewritten judgment is the failure this product exists to prevent.
A workspace that holds journal entries cannot be deleted. It can be left as it is. A workspace that holds none can be deleted by its owner, which also removes its Capture media.
Deleting your account removes every seat you hold. If you have written a journal entry, the account is kept as the attribution anchor for it and sign-in is revoked; if you have written none, the account is deleted outright. You must first hand over or delete any workspace where you are the last owner.
paying
Your invitation to the beta is free and nothing in the beta asks you for money. A beta workspace sits on the Free plan.
There is one paid plan, Pro: $20 per editor per month, or $192 per editor billed yearly, which is $16 a month. Viewers are free on it, and a Free workspace may invite as many editors and viewers as it likes. Whether checkout is switched on is a deployment setting rather than something this page can promise, so treat the product's own billing screen as the answer. If you do buy, the plan, the price, and the amount charged are shown to you before you confirm, and Stripe handles the payment.
The renewal, cancellation, and refund terms that apply are the ones stated at the point of purchase. This page promises none of them in advance, because they are not settled yet.
ending it
You can stop using Lasthand at any time. Delete your account in Settings, and delete a workspace from its own settings when it holds no journal entries.
changes to these terms
These terms change when the product changes. Every change is listed in the changelog below with the date it took effect.
feedback
An intake for feedback from people and from agents is planned and not built. Feedback you do send may be used to improve Lasthand.
contact
Write to lasthand-support@googlegroups.com. It is a Google Group, and it is the support address Lasthand publishes today, including on the Google sign-in screen. A mailbox on the lasthand.design domain does not exist yet; when one does, this page will name it instead.
governing law
Not yet named. PLACEHOLDER: Lasthand is operated by Nothing To Do, LLC, and no jurisdiction is chosen yet; the owner names it before these terms bind anyone.
changelog
- 2026-10-07 — Names the company that operates Lasthand: Nothing To Do, LLC. No commitment changed.
- 2026-09-26 — Wording only: "comment" becomes "note", the word the product now uses for what a person leaves on a Review. No commitment changed.
- 2026-09-07 — The catalog was reshaped: Pro at $20 per editor a month or $192 a year, unlimited editors on Free, and the agent-work allowance stated as weekly with Pro's 1,000,000 named as a fair-use bound.
- 2026-09-06 — Guest identities shipped. The paragraph describing them as unbuilt now describes what they are, including that adding an email keeps the handle and the comments and widens nothing.
- 2026-09-06 — First draft, written for the invite-only free beta. Replaces the earlier placeholder page. Not reviewed by a lawyer.
